Day 1

The driver will pick you up from the airport or your hotel early in the morning before departing for Aberdare National Park at 0630 hrs. The scenic drive takes around 3 to 4 hours via Nyeri. Upon arrival at the park gate, you’ll check in your lodge and embark on a game drive through the lush forests and misty moorlands, spotting wildlife like elephants, buffalos, and the rare bongo antelope. Return to the lodge and enjoy lunch as you relax and watch animals at the waterhole. In the afternoon, take a guided nature walk or visit Karuru and Chania waterfalls for breathtaking views. As the evening sets in, head back to your lodge for dinner and a cozy night by the fireplace, listening to the sounds of the wild.

Day 2

After you get up, you will enjoy a walk by the park, then return for breakfast and check out. You will then leave the lodge at 0800 hrs for the Samburu National Reserve for a 4 to 5 hour drive. You’ll pass through Nyeri, Nanyuki, and Isiolo, enjoying scenic landscapes of Mount Kenya and the Laikipia Plateau along the way. A short stop in Nanyuki allows for a visit to the equator crossing for a photo opportunity. Continuing north, the terrain gradually changes from lush highlands to the semi-arid wilderness of Samburu. Upon arrival around midday, you’ll check into your lodge, enjoy lunch, and relax before embarking on an evening game drive in search of the local Samburu residents. Get to learn more about their culture and their name, 'the butterfly people'. As the sun starts to disappear, you will return to your lodge for dinner and the night's stay.

Day 3

Your day will begin with an early morning game drive at 0600 hrs, just as the sun rises and wildlife is most active. Return to the lodge for breakfast before you set off into the rugged semi-arid landscape with your packed lunch, searching for Samburu’s "Special Five"—Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk. Along the Ewaso Nyiro River, you may spot elephants, lions, leopards, and crocodiles basking on the riverbanks. Continue towards Buffalo Springs, where herds of buffalos and antelopes roam freely. Around midday, enjoy your lunch under a shaded river spot while soaking in the vast beauty of Samburu, then head for an afternoon drive. At 1630 hrs, the golden-hour game drive begins, offering stunning photography opportunities as the sun sets. Later on, return to the lodge just in time for dinner and a relaxing evening under the starlit Samburu sky.

Day 4

Breakfast will be served early, then check out of the lodge by 0700 hrs. The journey from Samburu National Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park takes about 6 to 7 hours, passing through Nyahururu, Kenya's highest town. Along the way, you’ll enjoy scenic views of Mount Kenya, rolling farmlands, and local towns. A brief stop at Thomson’s Falls in Nyahururu offers a refreshing break and a chance to admire the 74-meter waterfall. Afterwards, the journey continues through the Rift Valley escarpment, descending towards Nakuru. In the afternoon, you’ll arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park, check into your lodge, and enjoy lunch. After some rest, set around the picturesque shores of the soda lake. Look out for grazing black and white rhino, Rothschild giraffe, buffalo, and leopard, as well as an array of colorful birdlife, before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Your journey from Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha begins early in the morning, where you will take breakfast, then check-out, at 0700 hrs. The drive takes about 1.5 hours through the scenic Rift Valley. Upon arrival at Lake Naivasha, you’ll embark on a boat ride, gliding across the tranquil waters as you spot hippos, fish eagles, and other bird species. You will then re-join the safari vehicle and continue south towards the Maasai Mara, a 5 to 6-hour drive via Narok town. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the Rift Valley and pass through Maasai villages. Upon arrival in Maasai Mara in the afternoon, you’ll check into your lodge, have lunch, and relax before heading out for a short evening game drive to spot lions, elephants, and cheetahs. The drive takes approximately about 5 to 6 hours, with a stop in Narok for refreshments. Arrive in Nairobi around midday, check in at your hotel, and relax over lunch. In the afternoon, head to the Giraffe Center, a 30-minute drive away. Here, you’ll get up close with the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes, feed them, and learn about conservation efforts. Afterward, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
