Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Early check-in at Entebbe International Airport as early as 6 AM for your domestic flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The flight will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, landing at Kihihi Airport. From there, our guide will transfer you from Kihihi to the Buhoma sector of Bwindi Forest to your accommodation. You then visit the Batwa community in the afternoon.

Gorilla Trekking Experience

This day will be the highlight of your trip. After a hearty breakfast, you will drive for approximately six minutes to the park headquarters for a briefing, which typically begins with a traditional dance followed by a general orientation. Following this, the park will divide you into groups of eight people each. At this stage, we will assign families to you, and the trekking duration will depend on the location of the assigned gorilla family. The trek usually lasts between four and eight hours in total. Viewing time with the gorillas is strictly limited to one hour, and wearing a face mask is mandatory. After your adventure, you'll return to your lodge to relax.
