Day 1

The Mount Longonot Day Hike begins with an early morning pick-up from Nairobi, followed by a scenic 1.5 to 2-hour drive to Mount Longonot National Park.

After a brief orientation, start your hike to the summit of the dormant volcano, which takes about 2 to 3 hours. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the Rift Valley, Lake Naivasha, and the surrounding landscapes.

Once at the summit, relax and enjoy a picnic lunch while taking in panoramic vistas.

Afterward, begin your descent back to the park entrance, which takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Finally, return to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon around 4:30 PM.
