Day 1

Your safari adventure begins with a 6:30 AM pick-up from your hotel or Arusha Airport. By 8:00 AM, we’ll begin the journey, driving for about 2 hours (150 km) to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and abundant birdlife.
Upon arrival, we’ll kick off a 6-hour game drive through the park. Tarangire is especially known for the seasonal gathering of wildlife along the Tarangire River, which serves as a vital water source during the dry season. You’ll have the opportunity to see herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and many bird species.
A hot lunch will be served inside the park, providing a break during your game drive. Afterward, we’ll continue the afternoon game drive, maximizing your chances of spotting more wildlife.
After an exciting day, we’ll head to Fig Tree Lodge for the evening, where you can unwind in a comfortable and authentic budget-friendly setting.

Day 2
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, we’ll depart from Fig Tree Lodge and embark on a 4-hour drive (231 km) to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, we’ll stop for a picnic lunch at one of the park’s designated picnic spots, giving you a chance to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings.
After lunch, we’ll head out for an afternoon game drive through the vast and iconic Serengeti. Known for its expansive plains and remarkable wildlife, the Serengeti offers incredible wildlife sightings. Depending on the time of year, you may witness the Great Migration, as thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles traverse the plains. The park is also home to the Big Five (lions, leopards, buffalo, elephants, and rhinos), as well as cheetahs, hyenas, and various antelope species.
In the late afternoon, we’ll arrive at Seronera Campsite within the Serengeti. Our team will prepare your tent and cozy sleeping arrangements, so you can enjoy a peaceful night beneath the stars in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 3

Wake up early for a 6:30 AM morning game drive, as the Serengeti comes to life in the early hours. This is the best time to witness wildlife in action, with opportunities to see lions hunting, cheetahs chasing prey, and elephants roaming the plains.
After the exciting morning drive, we’ll return to the campsite for a light brunch, giving you a chance to relax and recharge.
In the afternoon, we’ll set out for another game drive, exploring different areas of the Serengeti. Depending on the season, we might also visit spots where the Great Migration is happening, offering a chance to see the incredible herds in motion.
Later, we’ll head to Ngorongoro Simba Campsite, situated just outside the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Our team will take care of setting up your tents, ensuring you're ready to relax and enjoy the evening.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we’ll journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s premier wildlife destinations. This collapsed volcano features a unique ecosystem with diverse habitats.
We’ll embark on a 6-hour game drive across the crater floor, where you’ll have the chance to see the Big Five up close, as well as other wildlife like hippos, wildebeest, zebras, and the rare black rhino. The crater is also a birdwatching paradise, with over 500 bird species to spot.
A packed hot lunch will be served inside the crater, offering stunning views as you enjoy your meal.
After a thrilling day of wildlife encounters, we’ll return to Fig Tree Lodge for the evening, where you can relax and unwind after such an exciting adventure.

Day 5
Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we’ll head to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its namesake lake that attracts a variety of waterbirds. The striking pink flamingos are a highlight, but the park is also home to many other bird species, including cormorants, pelicans, and storks, with around 400 different species to spot.
The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, often seen in the central and open areas. During the safari, you’ll also have the chance to see other wildlife such as elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and hippos.
