Day 1

Pick up at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi or Hotel, drive straight to Samburu National Reserve.
The Samburu National Reserve is a game reserve on the banks of the Ewaso Ng'iro river in Kenya. On the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve.

This Reserve was one of the two areas in which conservationists George and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the Lioness. Their story was made famous by the bestselling book and award-winning movie "Born Free". The game reserve is renowned for its rare species of animals unique to the park, namely: the long necked gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe and Beisa onyx. The elusive Kenya leopard is often known to visit the park, especially in the evenings.
The only park that you can find all the big five and small five.

Arrive for lunch and check in at the Lodge. Thereafter have an afternoon game drive at the game reserve to return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy morning and afternoon exploring the Samburu with its spectacular scenic beauty; rivers, permanent springs and forests as well as the rich and colorful heritage of the local people and wealth of wildlife which includes leopard, hippo, elephant, lion, reticulated giraffe, gravy’s zebra and crocodile in the Ewaso Nyiro River. Over 300 species of birds have been identified in the sanctuaries. Dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Sopa.

Day 3

Samburu to lake Nakuru

After early morning breakfast, check out and proceed for a journey to Lake Nakuru NP, a birdlife heaven, at the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive for lunch, check in and relax as you take your meal. Later afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru National Park is a world-class bird watching safari destination with thousands of pink flamingos & other over 400 bird species including African Fish Eagle, goliath heron, hammer kops, pied kingfishers, eagles, white pelicans, starlings, crab plovers & many others. The park is also a wild game destination for animal lovers and wildlife explorers with over 100 white & black Rhinos, the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe and other 50 or more animal species that include buffalos, waterbucks, lions, zebras, impalas and many more. Early morning game drive followed by breakfast then check out and proceed to the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve on a drive along the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for lunch, check in at the Lodge and enjoy your meal as you relax. Afternoon game drive to explore the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, leave the Lodge with picnic lunch for a full day game viewing in this famous national reserve. You will spot thousands of wildlife including Buffalos, hippos in the Mara River, lion, rhino, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, warthog, hyena, jackal, wild dog, leopard, many kinds of antelope and elephant. The annual wildebeest migration, a once in a lifetime natural wonder, occurs in the Mara from July to September where millions of wildebeest and zebra migrate from the Serengeti in search of abundant water and pasture. Maasai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Maasai community who may be seen around the borders of the park-Moran’s (warriors). Return to the Lodge for dinner & overnight stay.
