Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and join other travellers at the meeting point. Depart for Tarangire National Park (approx. 2-hour drive), passing through scenic Maasai villages and open plains.

Tarangire is famed for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, including lions, giraffes, and wildebeests. Enjoy a game drive, spotting animals along the Tarangire River. Lunch will be served at a picnic site. Later, continue your safari before heading to the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay under the stars.

Tarangire National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Crater (about a 2.5-hour drive). Descend into this UNESCO-listed wonder, home to the Big Five and a dense concentration of wildlife. Enjoy a thrilling game drive, spotting lions, rhinos, elephants, and more in the stunning volcanic caldera.

Around midday, have a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. In late afternoon, you will ascend the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the evening for an overnight stay at your hotel.

Arusha to Materuni Waterfalls

This Day starts around 7:00 AM with a drive to Moshi (about 2 hours), enjoying views of Mount Kilimanjaro on clear days. Upon arrival at Materuni village, begin a guided coffee tour, learning the traditional process of making local Arabica coffee, from bean to cup.

Afterward, embark on a scenic hike through lush forests to Materuni Waterfalls, where you can take a refreshing dip. Enjoy a local lunch at the village before heading back to Arusha in the afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel or transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
