Meet your driver-guide at your hotel or the airport and embark on a scenic four-hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the Virunga volcanoes, Rwanda's rolling hills, and the picturesque green villages of Kisoro. Upon reaching Kisoro town, continue to the Rushaga sector in the southern part of Bwindi Forest National Park. Check in at your booked lodge, relax, and prepare for an exciting gorilla-tracking adventure the following day.

Gorilla Trekking and Departure

Start your day with an early breakfast and pack your lunch before heading to the Bwindi headquarters for a pre-trekking briefing. You will join a group of seven other travelers and be assigned to a gorilla family there. At 8:00am, begin your hike into the jungle to meet the gorillas. The duration of the hike will vary depending on the gorillas' location. Once you encounter the gorillas, you will spend one hour in their presence, enjoying their human-like behaviors, taking photos, capturing videos, and savoring this once-in-a-lifetime experience. After your visit, hike back to the lodge to refresh before returning to Kigali for your flight home.
