Day 1

Arusha City to Tarangire National Park

Arusha City to Tarangire National Park

During this time of year, thousands of animals migrate from the dry Maasai steppe to the Tarangire River in search of water. Spanning 2,600 square kilometers, Tarangire is renowned for its large herds of elephants and buffaloes. You’ll also have the chance to spot lions, giraffes, impalas, wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles. Tarangire is the only known reserve where the fringe-eared oryx can be found.

Next, we’ll visit Olduvai Gorge, located 180 km from Arusha in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This historic site is where Dr. Louis Leakey uncovered the remains of Homo habilis, known as the "handyman," considered a crucial step in human evolution. Fossils of prehistoric elephants, giant horned sheep, and enormous ostriches have also been discovered here.

You’ll enjoy a game drive through the park before heading back to Mto wa Mbu for camping overnight. The size of the tent is (3x3m), with normal beds, each tent has a private veranda &a bathroom. Staffs will take care of all issues.

Day 2

Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you’ll begin your drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you'll be treated to the beautiful views of the highland farmland in Karatu. As you leave the highlands behind, you’ll descend into the vast, untamed Serengeti, where endless grasslands stretch as far as the eye can see.

You’ll then head to the Seronera region, one of the park's prime wildlife areas, home to the Seronera River. This river provides a vital water source that attracts a wide variety of animals, representing many of the Serengeti’s species. Upon arrival, you’ll have lunch before heading out for an afternoon wildlife drive. Afterward, you'll return to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

You'll begin your game drive in Serengeti National Park early in the morning. We are completely open to your preferences, and this day will be planned around them. Every day of the safari, your guide will discuss the best times for you, including game drives and wake-up calls. On this day, for example, you could go on a morning game drive, then return to the camp/lodge for lunch/brunch and relaxation before going on another afternoon game drive. You could also go on a game drive and bring a picnic lunch. You will return to the campsite after the game drive.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro

After an early breakfast, you'll set off for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with game drives along the way. During the journey, you'll have the opportunity to stop at a Maasai village for a 30-minute cultural experience with the locals. Your day will end with dinner and an overnight stay at Simba Public Campsite.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

This day begins early with a picnic lunch before descending 2,000 feet to the Crater floor in our 4WD vehicle for a wildlife safari. You'll have the chance to explore this stunning "Garden of Eden." Ngorongoro Crater is a vast, deep volcanic crater in Tanzania, with its floor filled with lush grasslands, marshes, woodlands, and fresh water, which support a rich and diverse array of wildlife. After the game drive, you'll continue on to Mto wa Mbu for camping overnight.

Your 6-day Tanzania camping safari concludes with a pickup from Mto wa Mbu and a drive to Lake Manyara. Located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, this park is known for its breathtaking beauty. You'll have the opportunity to spot various wildlife, including buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, impalas, hippos, and more. In the late afternoon, you'll head back to Arusha to conclude your safari.
