You will be picked up from Entebbe after a briefing by your guide from Maseke Adventures. Your transfer to Murchison Falls National Park will begin with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will have the opportunity to track rhinos—the first of the “Big Five.” Continuing your journey through the Kaniyo Pabidi Forest, you will arrive at Murchison Falls National Park. In the evening, you will visit the renowned Murchison Falls before settling in for your overnight stay.

Day 2

You might choose to go chimpanzee tracking in Kaniyo Pabidi after an early breakfast. Then, you’ll begin a game drive in search of African elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, various antelopes, giraffes, warthogs, and a variety of bird species and other animals.

The game drive will thrill you until midday. After a nice lunch, you will join others for a boat journey to the bottom of the falls, where you can see a variety of species and capture breathtaking pictures of the falls.

Day 3

After an early morning breakfast, you will check out from your accommodations and travel a considerable distance to Queen Elizabeth National Park, with a lunch stop in Fort Portal Town. Arriving early at Queen Elizabeth will allow you to enjoy an evening wildlife drive before supper and your overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, you will begin your game drive to the Kasenyi Plains in search of large game and other wildlife. If time allows, you will learn about salt extraction and visit the saltwater Lake Kasenyi to see flamingos.

For those interested in souvenirs, a stop at the Kasenyi Craft Shop is also an option.

After lunch, you will travel to the Mweya Peninsula to join others for a boat tour on the well-known Kazinga Channel, where you are likely to see elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, and other animals gathering at the lake for a drink.

Additionally, you may choose to take part in an optional chimpanzee tracking experience in Karinzu Central Forest.

Day 5

Today, you will drive slowly through the Ishasha region, keeping an eye out for the rare tree-climbing lions and other wildlife. In the afternoon, you will continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through Kihihi Town along the way.

Day 6

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Lake Bunyonyi

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, you will head to the briefing area in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to receive an overview on tracking mountain gorillas. It is recommended that you pack a lunchbox and plenty of drinking water.

For fifteen dollars, you may hire a porter to carry your luggage and assist in steep or slippery areas of the forest. After the briefing, you will be divided into groups of eight and guided into the forest by a park ranger.

Once you locate the gorillas, you will have one hour to observe them before returning. As Bwindi is a tropical jungle, carrying rain gear is essential. After the trek, you will be driven back to the resort.

Later, you will pack your luggage and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, the deepest lake after Tanganyika. Here, you can swim either in the resort's swimming pool or in Uganda’s most picturesque lake. You will also have the opportunity to travel by canoe to explore your surroundings or visit nearby towns.

Day 7

Lake Bunyonyi - Entebbe

You will begin your journey back to Entebbe after breakfast, stopping for lunch near the equator. After lunch, you may have the opportunity to shop for African goods before continuing to Entebbe International Airport. We hope you enjoyed your trip!
