Arrive at Kigali International Airport, where you'll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, enjoy an optional city tour to explore Kigali’s rich history and culture, including visits to the Genocide Memorial and local markets. This day provides a great introduction to Rwanda’s capital before your adventure continues the following day.

Day 2

Your adventure begins with Golden Monkey Tracking in Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park. Early in the morning, you'll trek through the lush forest to locate the endangered golden monkeys. These playful primates, unique to the Virunga Mountains, offer a fantastic opportunity for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers. The tracking experience typically lasts 2-4 hours, depending on the location of the monkeys.
After the golden monkey tracking, you'll have lunch at the park, then begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. The drive takes approximately 4-5 hours, crossing the border between Rwanda and Uganda, offering beautiful scenic views of the countryside along the way. Upon arrival in Bwindi, you’ll check into your lodge and enjoy a peaceful evening.

Day 3
Gorilla Trekking Experience & Community Visit
Gorilla Trekking Experience & Community Visit
After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the park headquarters for a briefing on the trekking guidelines. Accompanied by an experienced guide, you will trek through the dense rainforest in search of one of the park’s habituated gorilla families.
Once you encounter the gorillas, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them, capturing the moments and learning about their behavior from your guide. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, you will have the chance to visit a local community village near Bwindi.
This visit allows you to experience the culture and daily life of the local Batwa people, who have lived in the forest for centuries. You’ll learn about their traditions, crafts, and the ways in which they are now involved in conservation efforts. This cultural experience provides a deeper connection to the region and its people.

Day 4
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park through Ishasha
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park through Ishasha
You’ll begin your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most iconic wildlife reserves. The drive will take approximately 5-6 hours, with a scenic route through the Ishasha region of the park, famous for its tree-climbing lions. As you travel through Ishasha, you’ll have the opportunity to stop and possibly see these unique lions lounging in the branches of fig trees—an exceptional wildlife sight.
Once you reach Queen Elizabeth National Park, check into your lodge and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the chance to enjoy a short game drive, spotting wildlife such as elephants, buffalo, and various antelope species that roam this rich ecosystem.

This day begins with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is the perfect time to spot wildlife, as many animals are most active during the early hours. Expect to see elephants, buffalo, lions, and a variety of antelope species, as well as numerous bird species.
In the afternoon, you'll embark on a Kazinga Channel Boat Safari. The Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward, is known for its high concentration of wildlife. The boat safari offers fantastic opportunities to see large numbers of hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles, and a wide array of bird species, including pelicans, eagles, and kingfishers. It’s a serene yet exciting experience, providing a different perspective of the park’s wildlife.

Day 6

You will depart from Queen Elizabeth National Park and travel to Kibale Forest National Park, a journey of approximately 4-5 hours through Uganda’s beautiful rural landscapes. Upon arrival, you'll check into your lodge and have time to relax. In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy a Bigodi Swamp Walk, located just outside Kibale Forest. This wetland area is rich in biodiversity and is an excellent place for birdwatching and spotting other wildlife.
The swamp is home to a variety of bird species, including the rare papyrus gonolek and various primates like the black-and-white colobus monkeys and red-tailed monkeys. The walk offers a tranquil and immersive experience in nature, allowing you to observe the unique flora and fauna of the area. Your guide will provide insight into the ecosystem and its importance for both wildlife and local communities.

After an early breakfast, you'll meet your guide for a briefing and then venture into the forest to track and observe these fascinating primates in their natural habitat. The trek typically lasts 2-4 hours, depending on where the chimpanzees are located, and offers an unforgettable experience as you witness their social behaviors and interactions.
After the chimpanzee tracking, you will return to your lodge for lunch before beginning the journey to Hoima (approximately 4-5 hours). Hoima, located in western Uganda, is known for its scenic landscapes and offers a more relaxed atmosphere, allowing you to unwind after the day's adventures.

You will depart from Hoima and drive to Murchison Falls National Park (approximately 3-4 hours). The scenic journey takes you through the beautiful Ugandan countryside, with rolling hills and rural landscapes. Upon arrival at Murchison Falls, you’ll visit the Top of the Falls—a spectacular viewpoint where the mighty Nile River forces its way through a narrow gorge, creating the powerful Murchison Falls.
The sight and sound of the waterfall are truly awe-inspiring, providing a perfect photo opportunity and a chance to enjoy the raw power of nature. After exploring the falls, you’ll check in at your lodge and have some time to relax before the evening’s exciting activity. Later, you'll head out for a night game drive in the park.
This is a unique opportunity to spot nocturnal wildlife, including lions, leopards, hyenas, and other creatures that are active after dark.

You’ll start with an early morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. This is the best time to spot wildlife as the animals are more active in the cooler hours of the morning. During the drive, you’ll have the opportunity to see a variety of animals, including elephants, giraffes, lions, buffalo, and antelope species.
After the game drive, return to your lodge for lunch and a short rest before heading out for an afternoon Nile River safari. This boat cruise takes you along the Nile River, offering a unique perspective of the park. As you cruise towards the base of Murchison Falls, you’ll see a variety of wildlife along the riverbanks, including hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and many bird species, such as pelicans, kingfishers, and eagles.
The boat ride also offers an up-close view of the dramatic Murchison Falls, as the Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge and plunges over the rocks.

Day 10

On the final day of your tour, you will have an early departure from Murchison Falls National Park to visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (approximately a 2–3-hour drive). Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is Uganda's only rhino sanctuary, where you will have the opportunity to track and observe rhinos up close in their natural habitat.
A guided walk will take you through the sanctuary to see these incredible creatures, providing an enriching wildlife experience. After your visit to the sanctuary, you will continue your journey to Entebbe Airport (approximately 3-4 hours).
Depending on your departure time, you may stop for lunch along the way or at a local restaurant before reaching the airport.
