Day 1

Our tour guide/driver will pick you up/receive you from either the airport upon arrival or your booked hotel. You will embark on a transfer to Kibale past the local people and villages onto fort portal have a stop over for lunch proceed to the lodge, that will see you overnight at the edge of Kibale Forest National Park.

Day 2
Chimpanzee Trekking, Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

You'll start your day with breakfast, before heading to the ranger's post where you will receive a briefing on the dos and don'ts of chimp trekking.
Following the briefing, you will embark on a trek through Kibale Forest to track the chimpanzees. An experienced ranger guide will accompany you on this adventure, and you will be captivated by the presence of these remarkable primates. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will have a full hour to observe them in their natural habitat.
You shall return to the lodge for lunch before departing for Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will arrive late in the afternoon for a game drive before heading to a reserved accommodation where you will spend the night.

Day 3

Discover Queen Elizabeth National Park in the cool morning air. You will go for an early game drive that exposes you to diverse animals like members of the Big 5, including elephants and buffalos, and big cats like lions and leopards. Along the circuit, spot warthogs, hyenas, and many more species that are residents of this park. There is also a rich birdlife, especially our version of storks in the wetland as we reach the flamingoes in the salt lakes.
After lunch, it is time for the 2 pm boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which lasts 2 hours. Here, you have the chance to spot hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles, and more along the banks of the channel.

Day 4
Transfer To Bwindi forest national park via Ishasha sector
Transfer To Bwindi forest national park via Ishasha sector
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and then head to Ishasha sector (Southern Queen) in search of tree-climbing lions. The chance of spotting these lions stands at about 60-70%, but sometimes they are hard to spot (most especially when they are down in the grassland looking for prey). Should you get to spot them up in the tree, the sight is picturesque and memorable. From Ishasha, we shall embark on the final leg of our journey, taking us to the accommodation situated right at the edge of Bwindi National Park.
Once at the lodge, you can choose to just relax or (optional) move out for the late afternoon-to-evening local community and cultural encounter. This involves cultural dances from the local people of the community and also participating in some activities, e.g. traditional cooking, weaving, among others.

Day 5

Early morning breakfast and move to the rangers’ post. You will receive some briefing (from a ranger guide) on the dos and don’ts during trekking. Thereafter, you will enter the Bwindi Forest for your adventure. The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular! The area offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle but endangered giants is unforgettable. Return to the accommodation and have a good rest after a strenuous trek.

Day 6

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before setting off to Lake Mburo National Park via Mbarara town. You will arrive in the early afternoon, providing ample time to relax before embarking on the late afternoon or evening game drive. During the game drive, you can expect to see magnificent wildlife, including the majestic eland, zebra, topi, impala, Uganda kob, and Cape buffalo, among others. Later, unwind at your accommodation for the night.
Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7

Enjoy an early breakfast and proceed for the Mburo morning park (bush) walk in the presence of an armed Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger-guide. On this early morning guided walk, you will have the opportunity to encounter (at close range) zebras, giraffes, eland, topi, and other antelope, as well as Cape buffaloes, among others. Take the trail to the top of the hills and see Lake Mburo and beyond. From this vantage point, you will have a wonderful view of 9 of the twelve lakes surrounding Lake Mburo NP. Thereafter, return to the accommodation for checkout and then hit the road to Entebbe airport.
