Once you arrive in Nairobi, a representative from our company will warmly welcome you at the airport. After a brief introduction, you will embark on a comfortable journey to Samburu National Reserve, a stunning wildlife sanctuary located in the rugged northern region of Kenya. The drive will take approximately five to six hours, allowing you to enjoy picturesque landscapes along the way, including the rolling hills and savannahs that characterize this beautiful country.

As you travel, you will make a stop at the Equator line for a picturesque moment. Thereafter you will proceed passing by small villages and witness the local culture that provides a glimpse into the lives of the Kenyan people. Once you arrive at Samburu National Reserve, you’ll check into your chosen lodge for lunch and a bit of relaxation. After enjoying your breakfast, set out for the stunning Samburu National Reserve, known for its unique wildlife and breathtaking landscapes.
Samburu is home to the 'Samburu Special Five' — the gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, and the Beisa oryx. As you traverse the reserve, your knowledgeable guide will point out these distinctive species, along with many others.

After enjoying an early breakfast at your accommodation, we will embark on an exciting drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. As you set out, the sun will be rising, casting a warm glow over the landscape, and providing a perfect backdrop for the day ahead. The drive will take you through picturesque scenery, with the chance to glimpse local wildlife and lush greenery along the route.
As you approach the park, anticipation will build for the unique sights that await you. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its stunning vistas and diverse ecosystems, including the iconic soda lake that attracts thousands of flamingos and other bird species. Upon arrival, you will check in at the accommodation, enjoy your lunch and have the rest of the evening exploring the surrounding environment.

We’ll kick off our day with a hearty breakfast to prepare for our adventures. Afterward, we'll check in at the park's entrance to officially start our visit and ensure a safe experience.

Once inside, we'll enjoy an exhilarating morning game drive through diverse landscapes, where we’ll look for iconic wildlife such as elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, both Black and White Rhinos and buffaloes. The Lake also attracts a thousand birds including the famous flamingoes and great white pelicans.

After our thrilling game drive, we will continue our journey towards the Maasai Mara National Reserve, a renowned safari destination famous for its breathtaking scenery and abundance of wildlife. On the way, we can enjoy the stunning views of the African savannah, making stops with one for our lunch. Thereafter we shall continue to the lodge in Maasai National Park.

Full-Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara

After an early breakfast, we will set off for an adventure in the stunning Maasai Mara, famous for its diverse wildlife. With packed lunches in the vehicle, we'll explore the vast savannah, keeping our cameras ready for sightings of the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos, along with other animals like giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, gazelles. We shall proceed to the Mara River (known as River of death) for wildebeest crossing experience. Although, this depends on the season, expect to see a number of wildebeests as they disperse across the plains.

Our knowledgeable guide will provide insights into the ecosystem and animal behaviors, making our game drive even more enriching. We’ll take breaks to enjoy the scenery and have a picnic lunch in the savanna plains.

In the evening, we’ll visit a nearby Maasai community for a cultural experience. As the day wraps up, we’ll return to our accommodation, full of unforgettable stories from the Maasai Mara.

As the sun rises on Day 6, we prepare for our transfer back to Nairobi. After enjoying a hearty breakfast and soaking up the final moments in this beautiful locale, we will check out of our accommodations. Our guide will assist us with our luggage as we embark on our journey, taking in the scenic views along the way. We shall enjoy the lunch enroute before proceeding to Nairobi Airport.
