Duiker safari

The tour starts from Mombasa town at 0830 hrs. Morning drive to Tsavo East National Park. Enter the
park at Bachuma gate and continue to the lodge, game viewing en route. Lunch at the
lodge. There will be time to relax by the pool before an afternoon game drive in Tsavo East Park, a vast
expanse of flat savannah plains broken up only by the Yatta plateau lava flow, the Galana River, and
occasional rocky outcrops. Here, large herds of "red elephants" can be found, so called because of the red
Laterite soil common to this area. Aruba Dam provides permanent water and interesting game viewing
while the views from Mudanda rock and the Yatta Plateau lava flow are well worth the scramble to the top.
Overnight at Ashnil Aruba Safari Lodge or similar.
