Mombasa - Taita Hills lunch and Dinner

The tour starts from Mombasa town at 0830 hrs. Morning drive to Taita Hills game sanctuary. Lunch and afternoon game drive. Taita Hills private Wildlife sanctuary, situated between Tsavo East and West is home to over 50 species of mammals and 300 species of birds within 28,000 acres of rolling savanna and woodland habitats. The Sanctuary is a success story in sustainable conservation where wildlife - including elephants, lions, buffalo, and giraffes - thrive. Salt Lick Lodge is set high up on stilts overlooking a waterhole which is floodlit at night when large numbers of animals come to drink giving a rare opportunity to view animals close up in their natural habitat. There is also an underground viewing hide right next to the waterhole reached from the lodge by a tunnel.
