Upon arrival at Mikumi National Park, embark on an exciting afternoon game drive, spotting elephants, lions, leopards, hyenas, and more in their natural habitat. After the drive, check in to your mid-range lodge and relax.

Depending on your preference, enjoy dinner before or after your thrilling night game drive, where you’ll have the rare chance to witness nocturnal wildlife in action. End the night with a restful stay at the lodge.

Game driver & Departure

After breakfast, set out on a morning game drive, exploring the rich landscapes of Mikumi National Park. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, lions, and hippos at the famous Hippo Pools, along with sightings of warthogs, buffaloes, and elands.

Mikumi’s vast savannas, dotted with baobabs, are home to an abundance of wildlife and bird species. The park is known for its high concentration of animals, including the majestic sable antelope, elusive African wild dogs, and herds of wildebeest. The southern regions feature rolling hills and expansive miombo woodlands, offering breathtaking scenery.

After your game drive, return to the lodge for a relaxing lunch before beginning your journey back to Dar es Salaam.
