Suricata Boma Lodge to Ngorongoro Crater
Make sure you get up early today so you have time to get ready. You will be in awe of the surrounding magnificence as soon as you enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Even more so when you reach the crater's edge and witness the breathtaking outlook over one of the world's natural wonders.
This extinct volcano's crater is the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, spanning 20 square kilometers and thought to be around 3 million years old. The crater's incredible fauna is a result of its natural boundaries. The Big Five live in the crater, which also provides a fantastic opportunity to see the endangered black rhino.
