After a hearty breakfast, your journey continues as you transfer from Tarangire to the lush slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, home to the charming village of Materuni. Here, you'll delve into the local Chagga culture with an engaging coffee tour, learning the traditional methods of coffee production from bean to cup. You'll participate in the roasting and grinding process, culminating in a freshly brewed cup of Kilimanjaro coffee. A refreshing hike to the Materuni waterfalls offers breathtaking views and a chance to connect with nature. Following this, a traditional local lunch provides an authentic taste of the region.
