Day 1

Begin Safari to Maasai Mara

Begin Safari to Maasai Mara

At 8:00A.M we will start our journey to Masai Mara, where your adventure will start. Masai Mara safari experience is out of this world, boasting an abundance of wildlife. The vast plains of Masai Mara comprise of millions of animals, moving around freely. Lion prides walk slowly, hunting for prey. The zebra herds walk closely together, forming the huge arena of packs of animals in the Masai Mara. From far away, you can spot a giraffe trying to fight a lion from taking its young one. The great migration can be found here depending on the month of your visit. Upon arrival, you will have your first game drive, as the sun goes down. Later you will go back to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Maasai Mara Experience

Maasai Mara Experience

You will have your breakfast and then leave for the park for a full day of game drives. The long morning and afternoon game drives will give you a chance to get a real close encounter for game viewing and photography. You will witness the various wildlife interactions as they happen. You will encounter the big five today and much more wildlife like the warthogs, cheetahs, birds like eagles, elands, monkeys, and much more. You will have your picnic lunch beside a hippo pool, as you watch the hippos dipping into the water as some watch you just above the waterline. At the end of the day, you will go back to the camp/lodge, Dinner and overnight will be at the camp/lodge.

Day 3

Mara to Lake Nakuru

Mara to Lake Nakuru

Breakfast then proceed to the Maasai Village to experience the culture of the maasai (opional). Listen to their beautiful stories as you get to deeply understand their way of life. Later we exit the park and depart for Lake Nakuru. You can see Mt Longonot from afar on your way, as you take in the beauty of the Rift Valley Landscape. Upon arrival, you will check-in to your hotel, for resting from the long drive. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

After your breakfast, your guide will pick you from the hotel and head to the Lake Nakuru National Park for an extensive game drive. This park is a bird lover’s paradise; over 400 species of birds have been recorded here. The pink flamingos paint the lake shores a vivid pink color, contrasting the black and white stripes of the zebras grazing around the lake. Tree climbing lions can be seen on the tree branches, staring at your safari vehicle. The endangered white and black rhinos pass by your safari van before they walk on. Looking closely at the trees, you will spot the antelopes, giraffes, and gazelles. Later we will exit the park and head to Naivasha with lunch en-route. Arriving in the late afternoon, we will check-in to our hotel. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 5

Lake Naivasha to Nairobi

Lake Naivasha to Nairobi

Early breakfast, then proceed to the Hell’s Gate National Park. This is the only park where you can take a bicycle ride as you see the animals. You can hire a bicycle and follow the zebra trails as you see other animals. You can also do rock climbing here and hiking around the Hell’s Gate Gorges. At the end of the game drive, you can cap off your safari experience with a boat ride at the Lake Naivasha as you marvel at the Hippos. Later we will leave Lake Naivasha and head back to Nairobi, with lunch en-route. You will be dropped off at your hotel/residence or the airport.
