On this 6-day Kenyan budget safari, we will pick you up from your hotel and start our journey to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will pass the spectacular Rift Valley Escarpment, which provides a scenic view for beautiful photo opportunities. We will arrive in the Masai Mara National Reserve in time to check in at the lodge and have lunch. Then, we will start our adventure adventure with a sundowner game drive, introducing you to the Maasai plains and its local cast of residents. Later, we will return to our camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Full Day in Masai Mara

Full Day in Masai Mara

Your day in the reserve starts with breakfast. Then, you proceed on a full day of a game-viewing adventure within the reserve. This reserve offers a varied wildlife experience, from the large numbers of wildlife to the scenic and stunning savannah Maasai plains to the Maasai culture experience.

Traversing the Masai Mara for a full-day game drive, you will see the Big Five, giraffes and much more. As we follow the wildlife road tracking networks, we will reach the Mara River, where you can watch hippos and crocodiles. Depending on your timing, you can also witness millions of wildebeest crossing this river from the neighboring Serengeti to look for greener pastures in Masai Mara. The wildebeest migration is one of the world’s annual spectacular events in the Masai Mara.

You will have a picnic lunch in the park and continue your game viewing with more of the Big Five and the lesser-known game encounters until sunset. Dinner and overnight will be at your camp.

Day 3

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, you will proceed to the Maasai village for a cultural experience (optional). Enjoy the beautiful stories of the Maasai people. Then, you will depart the Mara region for Nakuru with an en-route lunch and scenic views of Lake Naivasha from afar on the main highway. You will arrive in the evening and be dropped off at the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru to Amboseli

Lake Nakuru to Amboseli

After breakfast, proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, which is famous for its birdlife and is comprised of flamingos. This wildlife park also is a sanctuary for the endangered white and black rhinos. You can find tree-climbing lions here and buffalos and zebras around the shorelines. Later, you will exit the park and start your journey to Amboseli National Park with a hot lunch on the way. There will be a stop on the escarpment, then proceed to Amboseli. Arriving in the evening, you will check into your camp, where you can rest before dinner.

A magical Kenya holiday safari experience awaits you on a full day of game drives in this Kenya wildlife park, which will showcase the large numbers of wildlife easily found bathing in the swamps found here. Amboseli National Park gives a beautiful safari experience and breathtaking scenery as you watch the elephants and buffalos roam at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Apart from elephants, you will also encounter cheetahs, zebras, hyenas, and many others. You will have your picnic lunch in the shade in the park and then continue with the afternoon game viewing. When the clouds clear off in the evening, you can see the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. Later, you will head back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Amboseli to Nairobi

On a beautiful morning, start the day with early morning game viewing and then return to the camp for a hot breakfast. Later, we will drive back to Nairobi, or you can decide to proceed to Mombasa for a beach holiday. We will drop you off at Emali to board a train to Mombasa or at the airport for your connecting flight to Mombasa.

This marks the end of the 6-day Kenya budget safari.
