The next morning, you’ll set off early for a game drive in Samburu, one of Kenya's most distinctive reserves. This area is home to the "Samburu Special Five" – the Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and beisa oryx – species not often found in other parts of the country. After the thrilling early morning game drive, you’ll return to the lodge for breakfast. The afternoon will offer you some free time to relax, and you may also have the option to visit a nearby Samburu village to learn about the local culture. In the evening, you’ll go on another game drive before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

After breakfast on Day 3, you’ll leave Samburu and travel to Lake Nakuru National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its diverse wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your accommodation and head out for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is famous for its large flocks of flamingos and other bird species, as well as its populations of rhinos and buffalo. You’ll also have the chance to explore the park’s beautiful wetlands, acacia forests, and rocky escarpments. After a full day of exploration, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing night.

This day will be a full day dedicated to exploring the Maasai Mara. You’ll start with an early morning game drive to catch the animals at their most active. Depending on the time of year, you may also witness the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River.
