Day 1

We will pick you up from your hotel, and after introductions with your guide, chef, and fellow travelers, you will embark on a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. This park is renowned for its diverse landscapes, featuring ancient baobab trees and the highest concentration of elephants in the country. It offers a rare opportunity to witness the social interactions of elephant families up close.

Our game drive will follow reported animal sightings, increasing the chances of spotting wildlife. While lions, cheetahs, and leopards can be elusive, giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras are abundant throughout the park.

Later, you will stop at the Tarangire River picnic site, where you can enjoy lunch while taking in stunning views of the river and the surrounding wildlife. Be mindful of playful monkeys and baboons that may attempt to sneak a bite, but rest assured, they are harmless.

After breakfast, you'll set off for Serengeti National Park, traveling through the picturesque highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you leave the highlands behind, you'll descend into the heart of untamed Africa—Serengeti National Park—where vast, endless plains stretch as far as the eye can see.

Your journey takes you to the park’s central region, the Seronera area, which is renowned for its rich wildlife diversity. This area is nourished by the Seronera River, a vital water source that attracts a wide variety of animals, making it one of the most wildlife-abundant regions in the park.

You will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an exciting afternoon game drive through the Serengeti, offering incredible opportunities to witness its iconic wildlife.

Day 3

Location: Seronera, Serengeti National Park

You will begin the day with an early breakfast, followed by a morning game drive, maximizing your chances of spotting a variety of wildlife. The drive will continue until the afternoon, when you will return to camp for lunch and to pack up.

As you make your way out of the Serengeti, you will continue your game drive en route to Simba Campsite, located near the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, approximately a 2-hour drive away.

Note: Wildlife sightings are possible even within the campsite.

Day 4

Distance: 210km
Non-game viewing time: 3 to 4 hours

After breakfast, you'll begin your descent of over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting wildlife viewing experience. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area, sustained by a constant water supply and abundant vegetation, is home to a diverse range of animals, including wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, elands, warthogs, hippos, and the impressive African elephants.

One of the highlights of this stunning area is its high predator population, with lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard often making an appearance, though spotting the latter can require a keen eye. You will also visit Lake Magadi, a large, shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern part of the crater, a key feature of the landscape. The lake is typically home to a large number of hippos, flamingos, and various other water birds.

In the late afternoon, we will transfer you to Arusha, where we will drop you off at your preferred hotel.
