When you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, a Trans Kibo Travel representative will meet you and take you on an exciting safari in Tarangire National Park.
Tarangire is known for its large elephant population and beautiful baobab trees. You may also spot giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, and predators like lions and leopards. This park has the second-highest concentration of wildlife in Tanzania, after the Serengeti. After enjoying a packed lunch, you'll travel to Karatu Safari Camp Lodge, where you can relax, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park
After waking up, you'll enjoy a full breakfast and pack your luggage into the safari jeep. Then, you'll begin an en-route game drive, having lunch inside the jeep. Along the way, you'll take in stunning views of the Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Crater before reaching Serengeti.
Serengeti is famous for its endless plains and the great wildebeest migration, where herbivores and predators like lions and leopards roam. You’ll also see buffalos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impalas, and Grant’s gazelles. Our driver-guide will help you spot part of the wildebeest migration.
In the afternoon, you’ll have lunch in Serengeti, set up by your driver. The adventure continues with a game drive until late afternoon, followed by a special sunset drive in central Serengeti. Afterward, you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Robin Safari Camp.

Day 3

After breakfast, you'll set off for a full-day game drive in central Serengeti. This world-famous national park is known for its breathtaking landscapes and rich wildlife, including the largest concentration of plains animals in Africa. It is also home to the incredible wildebeest and zebra migration.
In the afternoon, you'll continue exploring central Serengeti, where the migration is usually seen between December and April. This area is also home to elephants, zebras, lions, black rhinos, big cats, and many bird species. Your guide will arrange a spot for lunch before you continue the game drive until late afternoon.
After the adventure, you'll head back to Robin Safari Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

On this day, you'll wake up early to enjoy breakfast and watch the sunrise in Serengeti. You'll also have a packed lunch in the jeep.
Your game drive will take you to southern Serengeti, a stunning savannah known as a calving site for wildebeest. Here, you can spot young wildebeest among the herds. The great migration happens year-round, with the best viewing from June to September, while calving season is from January to March. Around 1.5 million wildebeest migrate in search of fresh grazing and water sources.
In the afternoon, you'll have a hot picnic lunch before finishing your half-day game drive. Later, you'll transfer to Karatu Safari Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Early in the morning, after breakfast, you'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. This massive collapsed volcano has a unique ecosystem with diverse vegetation, stunning landscapes, and a rich variety of wildlife.
Ngorongoro is one of the best places to see all of the Big Five. The views from the crater rim are breathtaking, and the area is recognized as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. You’ll spot wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and many of the 500+ bird species. If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the rare black rhino.
After lunch, you'll ascend the crater walls and head to Karatu Safari Camp to relax, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 6

After breakfast, you'll leave Karatu and head to Lake Natron. This area is known for its stunning scenery, including the Ngarasero Escarpment, waterfalls, deep gorges, the active Oldonyo Lengai volcano, and flocks of flamingos on the lake.
Today, you'll take a walk to the Ngara Sero waterfalls. Along the way, you'll cross the water several times, with chances to swim and cool off under the falls. It's a beautiful spot, and you'll enjoy a packed lunch near the waterfalls while watching different bird species. In the evening, you'll return to camp for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay at Africa Safari Lake Natron campsite.

Day 7

You'll wake up early to watch the sunrise over Lake Natron and walk around to see the flamingos.
After breakfast, your guide will take you to see the ancient hominid footprints, estimated to be 120,000 years old—the oldest known tracks of Homo sapiens. In the afternoon, you'll enjoy a hot lunch before continuing with a flamingo walk. The lesser flamingos, which feed on algae in soda lakes across East Africa, choose Lake Natron as their main breeding site.
After the game walk, you'll leave the lake and head back to Africa Safari Lake Natron for dinner and an overnight stay..

After breakfast, you'll have some time to explore Lake Natron before departing for Dar es Salaam.
Upon arrival, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your reserved accommodation. You'll then enjoy dinner and spend the night at FQ Hotel in Dar es Salaam.

Early in the morning, after a full breakfast, our representative will pick you up from your accommodation and take you to Mafia Island. Upon arrival, you'll go on a town tour to explore the island before heading to your accommodation for check-in.
In the afternoon, you'll take a bicycle ride to Mafia Beach for relaxation. After enjoying your time by the beach, you'll return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10

Enjoy to swim with whale sharks at Mafia Island
After breakfast, you'll set off on an exciting trip to see whale sharks! These gentle giants are often found just a few hundred meters offshore near Kilindoni Harbour. A short boat ride will take you to their feeding grounds, where you might spot up to 24 sharks at a time. Some grow over 14 meters long, making for an incredible sight both above and below the water. You'll have the chance to swim and snorkel alongside them for an unforgettable experience.
After lunch, you'll visit Chole Island, a great place to meet locals and learn about its history, including its connection to the old slave trade market. You'll also enjoy a sunset sailing experience.
Later, you'll have lunch on the sandbank before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

On your last day in Mafia Island, you'll wake up early to visit a hidden lagoon within the marine park—one of the island’s best-kept secrets. This stunning spot offers a unique experience where you can swim in crystal-clear waters surrounded by hundreds of harmless jellyfish.
Enjoy a boat ride to and from the lagoon, keeping an eye out for monkeys in the trees and other beautiful sights along the way. After the trip, you'll return to your accommodation for lunch.
In the afternoon, you'll say goodbye to Mafia Island and begin your journey back home.
