Day 1

Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from Arusha and driven to Tarangire National Park, a journey that takes approximately 2 to 3 hours. Along the way, enjoy captivating views of Maasai villages, traditional homesteads, local people, stunning landscapes, and glimpses of Mount Meru. Upon arrival at the park, check into your lodge, relax, and enjoy an early lunch.

After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive in a 4WD pop-up safari vehicle with a professional driver-guide, who is well-versed in the park’s game tracks.

During the game drive, you’ll be treated to spectacular sights, including the iconic baobab and acacia trees, large herds of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, bushbucks, and warthogs. The park is also home to colorful bird species, such as white-faced whistling ducks, pygmy falcons, yellow-necked spurfowls, and red-billed parrots. After the game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast on the second day of your 4-day safari, you’ll pack your lunch box, check out of the lodge, and meet your driver-guide for a transfer to Serengeti National Park.

Upon arrival, you’ll embark on an exciting game drive, where you’ll have the chance to see a variety of wildlife, including buffaloes, elephants, wildebeests, hartebeests, giraffes, waterbucks, gazelles, elands, impalas, zebras, and warthogs. You may also spot predators such as leopards, lions, and hyenas roaming the vast savannah and grassland plains. Enjoy the diverse birdlife and the stunning views, including the beautiful sundown.

After a full day of exploration, at around 6:00 pm, you will return to the camp, check in, and enjoy dinner before settling in for the night.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park. During the morning drive, you’ll witness animals at their most active, grazing across the open savannah and grassland plains. Expect to see elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, wildebeests, gazelles, waterbucks, zebras, and elands.

You may also spot predators like lions, leopards, and spotted hyenas hunting, as well as primates like baboons and vervet monkeys. Enjoy breath-taking views of the sunrise, along with a variety of plant and tree species. Keep an eye out for bird species such as silver birds and flamingos, among many others.

After the morning game drive, you’ll return to camp for lunch before continuing with the game drive as you head toward Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, check into your lodge (located outside the park), enjoy dinner, and relax for the overnight stay.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, meet your guide and depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying an en-route game drive while carrying picnic lunch boxes.

The Ngorongoro Crater, once a massive volcano, is now the world’s largest intact caldera. This ancient caldera, which collapsed and eroded over millions of years, is now a stunning highland area, with the 600-meter-deep Ngorongoro Crater at its heart. At nearly three million years old, the crater is home to one of the most remarkable wildlife sanctuaries on the planet.

After a half-day game drive within the crater, you’ll ascend the rim and begin your journey back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your onward journey.
