Arrive In Kenya | Travel To Amboseli National Park | Evening Game Drive

On arrival in Kenya in the morning hours, you will be welcomed and picked by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on an A4 paper at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and be transferred to Amboseli National Park.

On arrival, you will have an evening game drive.

Amboseli may be smaller than many other Kenyan parks, but it packs a lot into a very small space. For starters, the views here are astonishing because Africa's highest mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro (5895m), looms over the park to the south.

Best of all, the mountain provides a backdrop to many fantastic wildlife sightings that almost always include elephants with big tusks, as well as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, wildebeests and gazelles. Birders can also look for the park's 420 different recorded species.

After evening game drive, you will be taken to your lodge.

This time of day is when both predators and prey are most active and it can feel as though anything could happen at any moment. This is when you'll most enjoy being on safari.

You will learn why magical Ngorongoro is unlike anywhere else in Africa. Cloud forests encircle the crater rim, and the view out across the caldera of this former volcano—quite apart from the altitude—will leave you gasping for air.

You’ll share the sunken ecosystem of the crater floor with hyenas, lions, elephants, black rhinos, and hippos. An ecosystem that has formed in the crater in the millennia since the volcano wrought its terrible fury upon the land. It could just be one of your best safari days ever.
