Day 1

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning or from the airport and brief you before heading out to Murchison Falls, which is in the northern part of Uganda. Along the way, you will make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola, where rhinos are being reintroduced to the wild in Uganda. You'll have a complete feel of the African Big Five mammals, as it is the rhinos, out of the Big Five, that are missing in Murchison Falls National Park. Here you will go for a trek around the sanctuary on foot, have lunch at the sanctuary and some relaxation for a short time before you embark on an exciting road trip to Murchison Falls, arriving in the evening. You will check in at the lodge, and the safari guide will lead you for the game drive in Murchison Falls National Park on the lookout for the likes of lions, hyenas, and leopards, among others. Proceed back to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Day 2

After an early morning warm-up tea/coffee, you will transfer for a game drive to the northern bank in search of animals like lions, giraffes, oribis, elephants, Jackson’s hartebeests, Uganda kobs, and buffaloes, among other animals and bird species. You will then return to the lodge in time for lunch and relax, preparing for yet another exciting activity in the afternoon.
After lunch, transfer for a 3-hour boat ride on the Nile River to the bottom of the falls. Here you will have the opportunity to view animals such as crocodiles and hippos in the water and some on the riverbanks. Buffaloes, waterbucks, and elephants are often seen on the riverbank grazing and drinking water. You will then have to hike to the top of the falls for a clear view of the falls. Return to your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 3

After breakfast at your accommodation, depart promptly for Kibale Forest National Park. Although the drive is quite lengthy, it offers stunning scenery. You will pass through charming villages, lush green countryside, and hills adorned with tea plantations that characterize this region of Uganda. The breathtaking landscapes will captivate you throughout the journey.
Kibale National Park is renowned for its diverse primate population, including chimpanzees, black-and-white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, L'Hoest's monkeys, and Uganda mangabeys (Lophocebus ugandae). During your chimpanzee trek, you will have the opportunity to observe these fascinating creatures swinging through the trees and foraging for wild fruits. Upon arrival at your accommodation, you will complete a brief check-in, enjoy dinner, and rest for the night.

Day 4

Start your day with breakfast before heading to the ranger's post, where you will receive a briefing on the dos and don'ts of chimp trekking. Following the briefing, you will embark on a trek through Kibale Forest to trek the chimpanzees.
An experienced ranger guide will accompany you on this adventure, and you will be captivated by the presence of these remarkable primates. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will have a full hour to observe them in their natural habitat.
Afterward, you will return to the lodge for lunch before departing for Queen Elizabeth National Park. You are expected to arrive in the evening and will spend the night at your reserved accommodation.

Day 5

Wake up early and savor your breakfast. Afterward, set off on a morning game drive to the Kasenyi Plains, where you can search for Cape buffalo, herds of elephants, and elusive big cats such as lions and leopards, among others. Following the game drive, return to your accommodation for some rest and lunch.
After lunch, you will embark on a two-hour boat trip along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lakes George and Edward. During this excursion, you will be captivated by the sight of wildlife, including giant hippos, elephants, and crocodiles, as well as a variety of bird species along the water's edge. In the evening, you will enjoy dinner and spend the night at your accommodation.

Start your day with breakfast before setting off for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is renowned for its resident tree-climbing lions. The likelihood of spotting these lions is approximately 70%, although they can sometimes be elusive, particularly when they are hidden in the grasslands searching for prey. If you are fortunate enough to see them, the experience will be truly spectacular!
Continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a significant habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda, home to an estimated 400 individuals—roughly half of the world's population. The park features several habituated groups that you will have the opportunity to trek. Given the strenuous day ahead, you will have a light schedule upon arrival; simply check in at your accommodation and take some time to relax as you prepare for the gorilla trekking experience the following day.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading to the ranger's post. Following this, you will enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rainforest is truly spectacular! The area features a dramatic, steeply forested landscape that is incredibly dense, crisscrossed by numerous animal trails that facilitate access for visitors. The time required and the terrain encountered will vary depending on the movements of these magnificent primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed to spend an hour in their presence. The thrill of observing these gentle yet endangered giants is an unforgettable experience.
Afterward, you will return for lunch before driving to Lake Bunyonyi. The lake is bordered by lush, green terraced hills that rise to heights of 2,200 to 2,478 meters, but it is the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that lend it an almost magical quality.

Enjoy an early breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and then embark on a journey to Entebbe Airport via the Equator point where you will have lunch and then proceed to Entebbe.
