On arrival in Rwanda, you will be welcomed and picked up by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Kigali International Airport and be transferred to your hotel in Kigali.

You will check into your hotel and do some relaxing to sleep off the jet-lag.

Day 2

Genocide Memorial Visit | Transfer To Musanze | Visit The Dian Fossey Center

After breakfast, you will go on a Kigali city tour visiting the Genocide Memorial Site, which gives a brief history of Rwanda.

Thereafter, you will be driven to Musanze, where you will visit the Dian Fossey Center. This center will teach you about mountain gorilla conservation.

After, you will be transferred to your hotel to do some relaxing.

Day 3

Gorilla Trekking | Visit Iby'Cultural Village

Gorilla Trekking | Visit Iby'Cultural Village

After breakfast, you will assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing in the morning together with your trekking gear and drinking water and after ascend in the forest to trek the gorillas. This is one of the most memorable experiences you can have while on safari.

Volcanoes National Park is known for its ultimate primate safaris, where tourists will get to see a number of primate species.

There are twelve gorilla families living in Volcanoes National Park that are fully habituated, with a few others habituated solely for scientific research. The groups, or troops, consist of at least one silverback along with several females and youngsters.

The families are known as Susa, Igisha, Karisimbi, Sabyinyo, Amahoro, Agashya, Kwitonda, Umubano, Hirwa, Bwenge, Ugyenda and Muhoza.

In the evening, you will visit the Iby'lwacu Cultural Center to enjoy the Rwandan culture, including the traditional dance.

After breakfast, you will assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing in the morning, together with your trekking gear and drinking water, and ascend in the forest to track the golden monkeys.

While participating in golden monkey trekking, you will get to find out interesting facts about golden monkeys that will make your Rwanda tour interesting.

After golden monkey trekking, you will be driven to Kigali for a local market tour. Here you can explore a lively arts scene, traditional markets, several museums and memorials, and tempting restaurants representing most global cuisines.

Later, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your scheduled flight to Tanzania. Our Kubwa Five Safaris guide will welcome you at Kilimanjaro Airport and drive you to your hotel in Arusha.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Serengeti National Park where you will go for an evening game drive on arrival.

After breakfast, you will spend the whole day enjoying game drives in this famous park searching for Zebra and Wildebeest migration followed by predators like Lions, Cheetahs and Leopards with packed lunches.

If you are interested in Hot Air Balloon Safari, this can be done in the morning; thereafter, you will continue with the game drive. The fee for the Hot Air Balloon Safari is US $600 per person.

After breakfast, you will be driven to Ngorongoro crater floor for a game drive with packed lunches. You'll love the warm light and cooler temperatures as we take you out to explore on your evening game drive.

This time of day is when both predators and prey are most active and it can feel as though anything could happen at any moment. This is when you'll most enjoy being on safari.

You will learn why magical Ngorongoro is unlike anywhere else in Africa. Cloud forests encircle the crater rim, and the view out across the caldera of this former volcano—quite apart from the altitude—will leave you gasping for air.

You’ll share the sunken ecosystem of the crater floor with hyenas, lions, elephants, black rhinos, and hippos. An ecosystem that has formed in the crater in the millennia since the volcano wrought its terrible fury upon the land. It could just be one of your best safari days ever.

After your morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Manyara. On arrival at Lake Manyara National park, you will go for a game drive.

Here lies a narrow belt of acacia woodland and a floodplain that is filled seasonally by Lake Manyara. Encompassing this area is Lake Manyara Park, which is often overlooked but is game-rich and best known for its tree-climbing lions.

Lake Manyara National Park is inhabited by over 380 types of birds and many animal species, including elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, leopards, lions, baboons, hippos, antelopes, warthogs and many others. It is a world-class wildlife-viewing destination, and it offers you some really special safari experiences.

It's also famous for its elephants, and it's not unusual to drive along a forest track only to have to stop suddenly to allow an elephant family to pass.

Day 9

Transfer To Tarangire National Park | Game Drive

Transfer To Tarangire National Park | Game Drive

On this day after breakfast, you will be transferred to Tarangire National Park for an evening game drive. If you’ve never been to Tarangire (and even if you have) you’re in for a real treat. Tarangire is filled with giants – baobab trees all across the park, as well as elephants, lots of them.

But that’s just the beginning. Of the big cats, you’ll probably see lions, and cheetahs and leopards are around, too. And it’s impossible to miss the wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes and zebras.

Your backdrop for all of this is one of the prettiest in northern Tanzania, with a memorable mix of river woodland, open plains and rolling hills. And some vantage points to take it all in.

Other wildlife to look forward to here includes big cats, zebra, hippo, buffalo, wildebeest and more. If you're really lucky, you might spy the park's transient population of African wild dog.
