After a morning breakfast, transfer to Akagera national park and upon arrival at the park, check in to have lunch and then head for an evening boat trip on Lake Ihema with an opportunity to view a variety of water animals like hippos, crocodiles and different bird species retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Ultimate Gorilla Trekking

Have breakfast and head to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking briefings. After the briefing, you will proceed to the jungle to encounter the giant Apes.
Gorilla trekking takes unpredictable time as the Mountain Gorillas move in different directions in search of food, once you track the giant Apes, you are allowed only one hour with them.

Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe

After breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a chimpanzee tracking briefing. You then proceed to start chimp tracking, searching for the active and playful primates in the Nyungwe forest.
