1-Day Mountain Gorilla Tracking in Uganda

Today, prepare for an exhilarating journey to track the elusive mountain gorillas! Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel, followed by a scenic drive to the park's visitor center. There, you’ll receive a comprehensive briefing from a ranger from the Uganda Wildlife Authority, who will accompany you into the ancient Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in search of these magnificent creatures.

The quest for a gorilla family can take anywhere from a few hours to an entire day, depending on the location of the group. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for a variety of forest wildlife, including black-fronted duikers, and bushbucks.

Standing just meters away from our distant relatives as they eat, rest, play, and bond with their young is a truly humbling experience. As you follow the mountain gorillas through their lush habitat, you'll not only observe their natural behaviors but also discover the rich biodiversity that surrounds them.
