Day 1

Your adventure begins in Kigali, where your professional tour driver-guide will meet you at 3 AM for an early departure to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, crossing the Katuna border along the way. By 7 AM, you'll arrive at the ranger's post, where you'll receive an essential briefing on the important do’s and don’ts for the trekking experience that lies ahead.

Once you’re equipped with knowledge, you will enter the majestic Bwindi Forest, renowned for its dramatic, steeply forested landscape and dense vegetation. The time spent trekking may vary based on the movements of these magnificent primates.

After locating a gorilla family, you will be granted an incredible hour in their presence—an extraordinary opportunity to observe these gentle yet endangered giants in their natural habitat.

Following your gorilla encounter, you will retrace your steps back to the starting point, where a hearty lunch awaits. Afterward, you’ll begin your journey back to Kigali.
