Kilimanjaro International Airport to Lake Manyara National Park

Upon arrival early in the morning or at noon, you will be greeted by our driver guide.

After enjoying a picnic lunch, we will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for an exciting game drive. Although it is one of Tanzania's smaller parks, it provides a rewarding and diverse safari experience. The lakeshore at Manyara is abundant with birdlife, and while you are on the lookout for various bird species, you may also catch a glimpse of the elusive tree-climbing lions. In addition, you can expect to see a surprising number of large mammals, such as elephants and buffalo.

We will travel to the Karatu area in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at your lodge, you will drive down into the crater. The crater's walls act as a natural sanctuary for the wildlife, allowing you to see a variety of animals such as lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and many more.

The only animal you won't encounter here is the giraffe, as its long legs are not suited for the steep sides of the crater. Enjoy your picnic lunch by the hippo pool. In the late afternoon, you will ascend the crater walls and drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park

Today, we will drive to Tarangire National Park for excellent game viewing. Despite its small size, Tarangire offers remarkable sights. During the Dry season, the park comes alive as wildlife and birdlife gather around the Tarangire River, which is a permanent source of water. Here, you will see large herds of elephants, which is why Tarangire is often referred to as the country of elephants.

You will drive to the lodge at noon for a hot lunch, followed by a short rest. In the afternoon, we will continue with a game drive, where you can enjoy the sunset over the Tarangire plains. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be provided at Tarangire Elephant Springs Camp.
