Today you will have a morning game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, followed by a scenic transfer to Serengeti National Park from Karatu. Early Morning depart from Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater Early breakfast at the lodge. Depart from Tarangire and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Gate. Descend 600 meters (2,000 feet) into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Africa. Morning Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater Explore the crater floor, home to over 25,000 animals, including: Big Five (Lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, and Black Rhinos. Hippos in Gorigor Swamp. Flamingos & waterbirds at Lake Magadi. Cheetahs, hyenas, and large herds of zebras and wildebeests. Midday: Drive to Serengeti National Park. Driving from Serengeti National Park to Olduvai Gorge, an important archaeological site, before continuing to Karatu for an overnight stay.
