After a warm welcome, you'll be transferred to your comfortable hotel in Arusha, the gateway to the Northern safari circuit. Arusha, situated at a higher altitude, offers a pleasant climate and serves as the perfect starting point. You can choose to relax and acclimate to the Tanzanian atmosphere at the Arusha Planet Lodge.

An early breakfast sets the stage for an exciting day as you embark on a journey to the legendary Serengeti National Park. a 6-hour drive, which is itself a game drive, to the heart of the Serengeti, the Seronera Valley. This region is renowned for its high concentration of big cats, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards, making it a prime location for thrilling wildlife encounters. You'll also have the opportunity to spot elephants, giraffes, and a variety of other fascinating animals as you traverse the vast plains. Your accommodation for the night will be Elwai Camp, offering comfortable and immersive safari experiences.

This journey can be accomplished either by a scenic 4-5 hour drive, which is a game drive en route. Upon arrival, you'll embark on an afternoon game drive along the Mara River, searching for the massive herds of wildebeest and zebras that make this area famous. The Sero Tented Camps will be your home for the next few nights, providing comfortable accommodations amidst the wilderness.

You'll spend the entire day on game drives, tracking the wildebeest as they gather along the riverbanks, preparing to brave the treacherous crossing. Witness the dramatic encounters with crocodiles and big cats, who take advantage of this opportunity to hunt. You'll also explore the Lamai Wedge and Kogatende area, known for its high concentration of predators. Remember that the migration is a natural event, and sightings cannot be guaranteed, but your guide will use all of their knowledge to maximize your sightings. You'll return to Sero Tented Camps for the night.

In the afternoon, you'll descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a natural amphitheater teeming with wildlife. Here, you'll have the chance to spot the Big Five, including the elusive black rhino, as well as lions and flamingos at Lake Magadi. Your accommodation will be at the Ngorongoro Safari Lodge or, offering stunning views of the crater.
