Fly from Zanzibar to Serengeti – Arrival and Game Drive

Your adventure begins with a morning flight from Zanzibar to the Kogatende Airstrip in the northern Serengeti, bringing you directly into the heart of breathtaking wilderness. Upon landing, your personal safari guide will meet you for your first exciting game drive. You'll head towards the famous Mara River, the site of the spectacular Great Migration.

Along the way, you'll already encounter some of the Serengeti's impressive wildlife – from elephants and giraffes to majestic predators like lions and cheetahs roaming the grasslands. The highlight of the day is undoubtedly the wildebeest crossing: each year, hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebras brave the dangerous river crossing at the Mara River, facing not only the powerful currents but also lurking crocodiles.

Your game drive will take you to your luxurious tented camp near the Mara River, where you can end the day with a delicious dinner under the African stars and prepare for more breathtaking adventures ahead.
