Day 1

Transfer from Entebbe to kibale forest national park

Transfer from Entebbe to kibale forest national park

We shall transfer from Entebbe to kibale forest national park. Its usually a 5 hour drive with plenty to see throughout the journey. On arrival we shall check in to the lodge and later head to bigodi for a community activity. Here we do 2 activities depending on time and interest. A forest walk, and community visit.

Day 2

Chimpanzee trekking

Chimpanzee trekking

We shall head out early for the chimpanzee trekking experience. At the start point you shall be grouped in groups of 8 to make it easy for you to enjoy the experience. The trek usually lasts between 3 to 4 hours before you return. We shall have lunch and later transfer to bwindi forest national park.

Day 3

Gorilla trekking

Gorilla trekking

This is usually the big day. We shall head to the start point for the morning briefing and grouping for the gorilla activity. You shall head out into the forest with your head guide and other rangers. The activity lasts approximately 5 to 8 hour. On return we shall head back to the lodge to relax or head out for an optional activity like the batwa trail.

Transfer back to Entebbe with stopover at the equator

On this day we shall transfer back to Entebbe with a major stop over at the equator for lunch, souvenir buying and of cource some pictures at the equator sign for memories.
