Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You'll be picked up from the lodge and start a beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park while carrying lunch boxes.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds. It consists of a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna with the Tarangire River wending its way through the parklands. It is possible that we will have the experience of seeing a lion stalking his prey or leopards watching whilst relaxing in the trees above.

Day 2

Central Serengeti National Park

Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti National Park for wildlife sightings. Enjoy lunch in a suitable place inside the park. In the afternoon, we will continue with the game drive activity before reaching the camp. The next day will be spent on full-day game drives inside this park.

Day 3

Central Serengeti National Park

Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park.

Day 4

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

After breakfast at the lodge we depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution.

We arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and after lunch we will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a half day’s safari tour. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart to Ngorongoro for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater while carrying lunch boxes.

This park constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and is one of the Natural Wonders of Africa. There is the presence of about 30,000 large mammals resident all year round (such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs and rhinos) and many varieties of birds (such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards). Be ready to see many animals here within a short time.

Day 6

Lake Eyasi

Lake Eyasi

Once you enjoy your breakfast, our safari guide will drive you to Lake Eyasi where you meet the Hadzabe tribe. This tribe is famous for hunting, so you will be able to go hunting with them and see how they do hunting.

Once you are done with Hadzabe, you will be taken to another tribe called the Datoga tribe. This tribe is well-known and experienced in Blacksmiths skills.

Furthermore, you will be able to stretch your legs by walking around Lake Eyasi and visit the local village there.
