Day 1

After breakfast, depart from Arusha (or nearby accommodation) for the Marangu Gate, a 2.5-hour drive. Enjoy a packed lunch before starting your climb to Mount Kilimanjaro’s Mandara Camp, reaching 2,500m above sea level. After the trek, descend to Marangu Gate and head to Materuni Village for a coffee tour with a local guide, complete with traditional food. Next, visit Chemka Hot Springs, where you can swim in its natural pool, blending warm and cool waters. In the evening, return to Arusha for an overnight stay at Karibu heritage Lodge, ending a day full of adventure and relaxation.
