Departing from Nairobi, you'll embark on a journey to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, passing through the stunning Great Rift Valley. The drive lasts about 5-6 hours, with ample opportunities for scenic stops and photography along the way. Upon arrival, you check into the Jambo Mara Safari Lodge, a wonderful spot to unwind while enjoying breathtaking views of the Mara. After settling in, lunch at the lodge awaits, where you can immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere. In the afternoon, you set off on our first game drive in the renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve, famous for its rich wildlife, including the iconic Big Five. The evening drive provides a cooler climate, making it an excellent time for wildlife activity. Look out for cheetahs on the hunt, elephants roaming the savannah, possibly spotting a lion pride as the sun paints the sky. After an exhilarating day, you'll return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the camp, preparing you for a day packed with wildlife adventures. You kick off with an early morning game drive, when the Maasai Mara teems with life. These early hours are ideal for observing predators as they hunt. Stay alert for lions and cheetahs on the lookout for prey, while also enjoying the sight of wildebeest and zebras grazing in the expansive plains. The reserve is renowned for its diverse bird population, so don't forget your binoculars to spot various species like eagles and storks. By noon, you’ll return to the camp for a lunch, allowing you to recharge before the afternoon activities. Afterward, set out for another game drive to explore new areas of the reserve. Depending on the season, you may be fortunate enough to witness the Great Migration, where vast herds of wildebeest and zebras traverse the plains in search of greener grass. As the day comes to a close, you'll return for dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Leaving the Maasai Mara, you'll journey towards Lake Nakuru National Park. Upon arrival, a scenic drive unveils the park's diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife. You'll begin at a viewpoint, capturing the breathtaking panorama of the lake, often adorned with flamingos. A guided game drive follows, offering encounters with giraffes, zebras, rhinos, buffaloes, and diverse birdlife. The rhino sanctuary provides a close-up experience with both black and white rhinos. A picnic lunch by the lake allows for immersion in the peaceful surroundings. The afternoon explores the park's vegetation and Baboon Cliff, offering fantastic views. As the day concludes, the stunning sunset over the lake sets the scene for memories before you head back to accommodation for dinner.

Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will check into your next hotel, where a delicious lunch awaits you. Finally, you will be transferred to your city hotel or the airport for your departure.
