Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you'll descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater to explore its incredible wildlife. The year-round water supply and abundant vegetation support a diverse range of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, eland, warthogs, hippos, and large African elephants.

The park is also famous for its dense predator population, including lions, hyenas, jackals, and the elusive leopards, which can be hard to spot without a keen eye. We'll also visit Lake Magadi, a large, shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner of the crater, known for its large flocks of flamingos, hippos, and a variety of other water birds.

After an unforgettable day of wildlife viewing, you'll return to Arusha in the late afternoon.
