Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, a guide will meet and welcome you to Uganda. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe, where you can check in and relax after your flight. Depending on your arrival time, you may take a stroll along the shores of Lake Victoria, visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, or explore the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. After an early breakfast, your journey to Murchison Falls National Park begins. Along the way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience on foot. Start the day with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the park. Expect to see elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and a variety of antelopes and birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, where you will witness the powerful waterfalls. After the boat cruise, hike to the top of the falls for a spectacular view before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, embark on a long but scenic drive to Kibale National Park. The journey takes approximately 7–8 hours, passing through beautiful landscapes, tea plantations, and local villages. You will have a lunch stop in Fort Portal before proceeding to your lodge near Kibale National Park. Check-in, have dinner, and rest in preparation for the next day’s chimpanzee tracking adventure.

Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting out into the forest for chimpanzee tracking. Kibale National Park is home to the largest population of chimpanzees in Uganda, as well as other primates like colobus monkeys and red-tailed monkeys. Spend an hour observing the chimpanzees in their natural habitat before returning to the lodge for lunch. The afternoon is optional for a visit to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

The trek may take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family. In the afternoon, engage in a Batwa cultural experience to learn about the traditions of the indigenous Batwa people. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
