After breakfast, you'll depart from Nairobi to Samburu National Park, a drive of approximately 6 hours. Arrive at your lodge/camp in Samburu, check in, and have lunch. You can enjoy the Maa culture of the Samburu people. In the afternoon, start your exploration of the wild animals on an afternoon game drive in Samburu National Reserve, which is known for its unique wildlife, like Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk. Move around as you take beautiful pictures, as explained by our professional guide. Then, you'll return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 2
Full Game Drive in Samburu National Reserve
Full Game Drive in Samburu National Reserve
You'll go on an early morning game drive to catch the wildlife at its most active. After 3 hours, return to the lodge for breakfast. Still, in your lodge, you can view nature and wild animals at the Ewasonyiro River. Enjoy a nature walk with a local guide to learn about the indigenous Samburu people and their traditions. Have lunch at the lodge.
You will go on an afternoon game drive to explore the park further and have a chance to enter the Buffalo Springs National Park, observing more wildlife and the stunning landscapes. Return to your lodge for dinner - not just dinner but a bush dinner- as you enjoy traditional entertainment.

The journey from Samburu National Reserve to Buffalo Springs National Reserve is a short, scenic drive through northern Kenya’s stunning landscapes. The two reserves are connected by the Ewaso Ng'iro River, which supports diverse wildlife. As you travel, enjoy panoramic views of dry savannah, acacia-dotted scrubland, rolling hills, and rocky outcrops. Wildlife moves freely between the parks, so keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, and zebras. Arriving by midday allows time to relax before an afternoon game drive in Buffalo Springs.
This reserve is more verdant than Samburu and is home to elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. The Ewaso Ng'iro River is a major wildlife hub, attracting animals to drink. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted by over 350 bird species, including herons, kingfishers, and migratory birds. A visit to Buffalo Springs offers an unforgettable safari experience, blending landscapes, wildlife, and birdwatching.

After breakfast, you will check out and depart from Samburu to Aberdare National Park (a drive of approximately 6 hours). You will arrive at your lodge in Aberdare, check in, and have lunch. Relax or enjoy an afternoon visit to the Aberdare Ranges, or opt for a nature walk. Return for an early dinner at the lodge. Visit the famous Ark Lodge for a night of wildlife viewing from the comfort of the lodge’s observation deck. You will have an overnight stay at the Ark Lodge for a unique experience of observing wildlife at night.

Day 5

Enjoy wildlife viewing at the lodge in the early morning, followed by breakfast. You may opt for a morning game drive and visit Karuru Falls within Aberdare. The journey then takes you from the cool highland forests to Laikipia’s savannah landscapes, offering scenic views of rolling hills, Mount Kenya, and the Great Rift Valley. The transition from lush forests to dry plains is striking. Arriving at Ol Pejeta in the early afternoon, you’ll check in and enjoy lunch before an exciting game drive.
Ol Pejeta is famous for its rhino sanctuary, home to the last Northern white rhinos. You may also spot lions, giraffes, hyenas, and zebras in the diverse terrain. A visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary offers insight into conservation efforts for rescued primates. With open savannahs and dense bush, Ol Pejeta provides a rich and rewarding safari experience.

Wake up early to experience the magic of an early morning game drive. The morning is one of the best times to see wildlife, as animals are most active during the cooler hours. After the game drive, return to your camp or lodge for breakfast, an incredible way to start the day in the wilderness. Drive to Nairobi with your packed lunch en route to visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary or engage in other conservancy activities before continuing your safari.
