Day 1
Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel. After introducing you to the guide and chef, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, which is a 2-hour drive away. The park is renowned for its diverse landscape and is particularly famous for its ancient baobab trees and the largest concentration of elephants in the country. This offers unique opportunities to observe the interactions among elephant families.
You will embark on a game drive through the park, focusing on areas where there are reported sightings of animals. While herbivores like giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras are abundant and easy to spot, the predators—such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards—can be more elusive.
Later, you will stop at the Tarangire River picnic site, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the river and the surrounding wildlife while having lunch.
After lunch, you will continue with the game drive. After the tour, you will head to your accommodation in Mto Wa Mbu, where you will stay at the campsite.

Day 2
Mto Wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will drive from Mto Wa Mbu to Serengeti, which takes 6 hours (including all stops) as it transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You'll visit Maasai village, It is optional to visit and explore the culture of the great Maasai society, this is an optional activity.
You'll arrive in Serengeti late afternoon. After taking your lunch, you'll go do a game drive in Seronera (the centre of Serengeti) until late evening and experience the sunset in Serengeti while having a close view of wild animals. You may be lucky enough to see a predator hunting or on a kill. Later, you'll head to Seronera campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Central Serengeti National Park

On this day, you will go to parts of the Serengeti north/ south/east/west, depending on wildlife movements. After an early breakfast, you will go on an early game drive. You will later have lunch and continue the game drive into the evening. Then, you'll return to the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay. Animals can be spotted on campsites.

Day 4
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

You'll wake up early at 6. After a hot cup of coffee, you will leave the campsite for morning wildlife viewing in the heart of Serengeti National Park while enjoying the beautiful sunrises. Though it’s going to be a bit chilly in the morning, don’t forget your warm clothes. You'll get on with the game drive till midday, drive back to camp for a full breakfast and lunch (brunch). Later, you'll leave the camp for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area while you are having a game drive en route towards Ngorongoro Simba Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast and having a picnic lunch, you will have a short drive to the descending gate and drive down the crater floor 650 meters deep for a half-day crater tour. If lucky, you can see rhinoceros, but the crater has some permanent resident animals, as the crater has permanent water throughout the year. Therefore, many of the animals prefer to stay, though they are free to come in or move out of the crater. After lunch, you'll ascend the crater rim back to the camp. You'll pick up the camping stuff and drive back to Arusha—end of your short 5-day Tanzania safari.
