Day 1

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After your hotel pick-up and a brief introduction to your tour guide, you'll embark on a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its stunning landscapes. Known for having the highest concentration of elephants in Africa, the park also boasts an impressive collection of ancient baobab trees. During your visit, you’ll have the chance to observe how different elephant families interact, and depending on recent sightings, you'll embark on an exciting game drive. While giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras are common across the park, spotting predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards may require a bit more luck.

For lunch, you'll enjoy a picnic at the Tarangire River, surrounded by the beautiful scenery and wildlife. While cheeky monkeys and baboons might try to steal your food, there's no need to worry. After lunch, you’ll continue your game drive, exiting the park around 4:30 pm.

Materuni Waterfalls

Materuni Waterfalls

On the final day of your adventure, your guide will pick you up early in the morning from your accommodation in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the extraordinary Ngorongoro Crater, providing a rare opportunity to witness the Big Five—elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos—roaming freely in their natural environment.

As you explore the crater floor, you'll also encounter large herds of wildebeest and zebras, especially during their annual migration. The Maasai people, who live semi-nomadic lives, share this land, grazing their livestock alongside the wildlife, which creates a fascinating blend of cultural and ecological landscapes.

After an exciting game drive, you'll stop for a scenic picnic lunch before continuing your safari journey. Later in the day, you'll begin your return to Arusha, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable 3-day adventure in Tanzania.
