Day Trip to Wenchi Crater Lake – Itinerary

Start your journey early from Addis Ababa, heading west towards Wenchi Crater Lake. Upon arrival, enjoy breathtaking views of the volcanic lake surrounded by lush highlands. Begin your adventure with a scenic hike or horseback ride down to the lake, passing through picturesque farmlands and forests.

Once at the lake, take a boat trip to explore its islands, including a visit to the ancient Wenchi Monastery. Along the way, enjoy the serene atmosphere, spot local wildlife, and see natural hot springs.

After your exploration, hike or ride back up to the crater rim, where you can relax and take in the panoramic views before returning to Addis Ababa in the late afternoon and we drop to your hotel or airport.
