Nairobi to Meru National Park

Meru National Park

Spend the entire day in Meru National Park, enjoying both morning and afternoon game drives.

In Meru National Park, you can spot a variety of wild animals, including large herds of buffalo, bushbuck, eland, duikers, elephants, gazelles, giraffes, genet cats, hartebeests, kudus, impalas, waterbucks and Grevy's zebras. Additionally, you may encounter baboons, jackals, hyenas, lions, oryxes, mongooses, oribis, vervet monkeys and warthogs. If you are lucky, you might also see wild dogs, caracals, bush babies, cheetahs, dik-diks, civets, leopards, bush pigs, otters, porcupines and black and white rhinos.

Along the rivers, you will find abundant hippos and crocodiles. Birdlife in the park is also diverse, featuring species such as Peter's finfoot, which inhabits the Murera and Ura Rivers, Pel's fishing owl, rollers, bee-eaters, kingfishers, starlings and numerous weavers.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

Meru National Park to Nairobi
