Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and numerous bird species. The Tarangire River, which runs through the park, serves as a vital water source, attracting wildlife year-round.
You will have the chance to have a professional game drive with an expert guide from the morning to the afternoon, then you will have a picnic lunch there after you will continue with the game drive until late afternoon where you will be transferred to your camping site in mto wa mbu for dinner and overnight.

After Breakfast you will leave Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Highlands takes approximately 3 to 4 hours, covering around 200 km. The route begins with a scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering stunning views of lush highlands and Maasai villages before reaching the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. The drive showcases a beautiful transition from the Great Rift Valley to the endless savannahs of Serengeti, with fantastic opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. Then you will join the gme drive at serengeti fo the rest of the day until late afternoon where yo will start game on route to your camp for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 3
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

You’ll begin your Serengeti game drive, typically in the morning morning to afternoon when wildlife is most active, searching for the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros) and other wildlife like giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. The Seronera area of Serengeti is especially known for its high concentration of predators and prey, providing spectacular game viewing.
After the game drive, you'll make your way to Ngorongoro Simba Campsite, which is located on Ngorongoro Highlands. The campsite offers stunning views of the Ngorongoro Highlands and is an ideal spot to relax under the stars, with a peaceful and rustic atmosphere. It’s a great place to unwind and prepare for the next day’s adventures, whether you choose to descend into the Ngorongoro Crater or continue exploring the area.

Day 4

Wake up early at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite, located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, and enjoy a hot breakfast while taking in the breathtaking morning views of the vast crater below. The cool, misty air and the distant sounds of wildlife make for a magical start to your day.
After breakfast, descend 600 meters (1,970 feet) into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s best wildlife viewing areas and a UNESCO World Heritage and home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, offering one of the best opportunities to spot the Big Five—lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and the rare black rhino.
After an exciting half-day game drive, ascend back to the crater rim, say goodbye to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and start your journey back to Arusha for about 3-4 hours. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Rift Valley with possible stops for pictures or a short break.
