Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your safari journey begins as you head to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its massive elephant herds and the legendary baobab trees, which are locally known as the “Tree of Life.” These ancient trees provide a surreal backdrop to the park’s stunning scenery. The Tarangire River, the park’s lifeblood, draws a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes. You’ll also have ample time to capture the diverse birdlife and the stunning landscape through your lens.

Today, embark on a scenic 4-5 hour drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through lush crater highlands with panoramic views. If the weather is clear, stop at Ngorongoro Viewpoint for a breathtaking view of the massive Ngorongoro Crater. Upon reaching Naabi Hill Gate, enjoy a picnic lunch before entering the Serengeti. Mto wa Mbu – Immerse in Local Culture and Traditions

Today, experience the rich cultural life of Mto wa Mbu, a charming town known for its agricultural activities and vibrant community. The town is famous for its rice fields and the distinct red bananas grown here. A local guide will show you around the village, where you’ll visit a school, church, market, and a banana brewery, providing insight into the daily lives of the locals. After the tour, you’ll return to Arusha, where you can enjoy some free time to relax or explore the city at your leisure.

Materuni Waterfalls

On your last day, head to the serene Materuni Village, located at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. This village is home to one of the largest and most beautiful waterfalls in the region. During your hike, pass through lush coffee and banana plantations, and learn about the traditional methods used to cultivate and process coffee. You’ll also have the chance to brew and taste some of the finest Kilimanjaro coffee. After a delightful lunch, return to Arusha or head to the airport for your departure.
