Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

You will be picked up from the hotel, or ferry or Airport and drive to Mikumi National Park, which is approximately a 5-hour drive. Stop in Morogoro for lunch and proceed to Mikumi National Park. On arrival in the park, you will immediately start an afternoon game drive safari. You will return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight at Chambo villa.

Mikumi National Park to Nyerere National Park

We'll have an early morning game drive in Mikumi. We will then have breakfast and drive to Selous (Nyerere National Park). On arrival, you will enjoy lunch and then start with an evening boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River. You will discover the Rufiji River by boat and encounter hippos and crocodiles in good numbers. Some 350 species of birds have been recorded in Selous/Nyerere national park. These are typical of the Miombo woodlands, and the birdlife supported by the Rufiji swamp lands is particularly interesting. You will have dinner and overnight at african Safari Lodge.

Selous/Nyerere National Park

After breakfast, you go for a full-day game drive with packed lunch boxes in Selous. You will enjoy a picnic lunch at the site the guide will select. After your picnic lunch and some relaxation, you continue the game drive until the evening. Dinner and your overnight stay are at African Safari Lodge.

Nyerere National Park to Dar es Salaam

Start the day with a morning walking bush village, which takes around two and a half hours. Return to your camp and have breakfast. You will then relax a bit and enjoy the environment of the lodge. After that, drive back to Dar es Salaam.

On arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be dropped off at the hotel, or Airport or the ferry to Zanzibar or Mafia Island.
