Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from Nairobi (hotel or airport) at 7:30 AM, heading south towards Amboseli National Park. Known for its stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds. Arriving around noon, check in at Amboseli Sopa Lodge, enjoy a hot lunch, and take a short rest.

At 4:00 PM, embark on your first game drive, where you’ll witness abundant wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, and various predators. After an exhilarating afternoon, return to the lodge for a freshly prepared dinner and overnight stay.

Full-Day Game Drives in Amboseli National Park

Today's itinerary is flexible, and you can discuss the day's schedule with your guide.

You can have a relaxed breakfast and then depart for a full day game drive, leaving the lodge/camp at around 7:30am. You will have your picnic lunch, which you will enjoy during the day. In the afternoon, return to the lodge/camp.

Alternatively, you can depart at 6:00am on an early morning game drive, return to the lodge/camp for breakfast and relax until midafternoon. Then, at 4:00pm, depart on an afternoon game drive. At 6:30pm, return to the lodge/camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, journey towards Lake Nakuru with a scenic stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint for breathtaking photo opportunities. Arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch before enjoying an optional boat safari or optional walking safari(Both optional, at an extra cost) on Crescent Island, where you can spot giraffes, zebras, and other herbivores up close.

Proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in the evening for check-in and dinner at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.

This will allow you to visit the Mara River, where the migration happens between July and October. Also, you will have a better chance to view wildlife all day and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
