In the morning, your safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha and take you to Tarangire National Park. The drive along a well-paved road offers views of Maasai people in vibrant dress, herding cattle and riding bicycles.
Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife. From the open roof of our safari jeep, you can spot zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, elephants, and giraffes amidst swamps and savannahs.
After a day of wildlife viewing, you'll enjoy dinner at one of our selected lodges, which features a restaurant, a pool, and spacious accommodations. You can unwind and reflect on your adventures before resting for the night.

Day 2
Lodge to Ngorongoro Crater
Lodge to Ngorongoro Crater
The Ngorongoro Crater is considered one of the Wonders of the Natural World. Spanning 102 square miles and featuring walls that rise 2,000 feet high, the crater serves as a unique sanctuary, home to almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa. It is one of the rare locations on the continent where you can spot the black rhinoceros. The crater boasts a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a high concentration of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. It is also renowned for its elephants, which are the largest in the world and possess enormous tusks. The Ngorongoro Crater truly deserves its title as a Wonder of the Natural World.
Your day will start early with a transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will descend into the crater floor for an unforgettable morning of wildlife viewing in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. After an exciting afternoon game drive, you will ascend the crater and transfer to the hotel in Arusha.

Day 3
Materuni Waterfalls & Chemka Hot Springs

Visit Materuni Waterfalls
Start your day with a 40-minute walk to Materuni waterfalls from the village entry gate. Along the way, your guide will share insights about Chagga culture and local flora and fauna. The 80-meter-high waterfall features a refreshing swimming pool at its base.
Coffee tour Materuni
Explore a working coffee plantation and learn about coffee cultivation, drying, roasting, and processing. Participate in traditional coffee grinding while enjoying Chagga songs and dances.
Chemka Hot Springs
Visit the Kikuletwa hot springs, surrounded by palm and fig trees. The turquoise water, fed by Kilimanjaro, is perfect for a refreshing swim. Enjoy a relaxing day with a picnic lunch before returning to Arusha in the late afternoon.
