This day will be dedicated to exploring the Western Serengeti, a key area during the calving migration season. Early in the morning, we will head west, enjoying a game drive along the way. The Western Serengeti is an ideal spot to witness the dramatic calving of wildebeest, which occurs between January and March. With countless newborns and predators on the prowl, this area is a photographer’s dream. You will also have the chance to witness predators such as cheetahs and lions hunting, creating unforgettable moments. Overnight at a tented camp in the Western Serengeti.

Today, you will spend the entire day in Western Serengeti, immersing yourself in the calving migration. Experience a morning and afternoon game drive to witness the heart of the migration. You’ll observe herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, along with their predators, creating a spectacle that few get to witness. Return to your camp for a relaxing evening under the stars.

After breakfast, you will depart from Western Serengeti and head back to the central Serengeti. Enjoy a game drive on the way, continuing to explore this abundant wildlife area. The central Serengeti is renowned for its vast savannahs, and it's an excellent place to spot lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Spend the afternoon enjoying a thrilling game drive before retreating to your tented camp for the night.

This morning, after breakfast, you will visit a Maasai boma to experience the culture and traditions of the Maasai people. Learn about their unique way of life and enjoy a warm welcome from the community. Afterward, continue your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, where you’ll enjoy a half-day game drive inside this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater is teeming with wildlife, including elephants, lions, rhinos, and many more species. It is one of the best places in Africa to witness wildlife in abundance. In the evening, drive to Karatu for an overnight stay at a lodge.

On your final day, enjoy a morning game drive at Lake Manyara National Park. After the game drive, enjoy lunch at the park before being transferred back to Arusha, where you will arrive in the afternoon. From there, you can either continue your onward journey or enjoy the rest of your evening in Arusha.
